Notifications

Kagami will offer notifications on policy breach in realtime. Initially these notifications will be via Twitter, email and discord however this could soon expand to other systems such as SMS, Slack etc. The information contained in the notification will include the wallet, policy name and trigger that set off the breach.

This allows for manual actions to be taken by those who receive the alert. Examples below however the action taken will depend on the type of policy and reasons it was setup initially:

  • Transferring all remaining funds out of the wallet (fat fingered employee, rogue trader). This assume more than one person has the private wallet key.

  • Investigating a possible smart wallet or contract security breach the moment unusual transfers occur.

  • Selling tokens or buying more tokens (portfolio balancing, profiteering from volatility)

To protect funds in realtime on policy breach see transaction holds.
